The Dodge Viper is arguably the most race-worthy production vehicle in the world. The Viper performs like a race vehicle and generates enough heat to prove it. Unprotected, it is an uncomfortable vehicle to drive regularly.
Alloy Racing Covers (a division of Advanced Thermal Products, Inc.) is proud to announce the release of the highly anticipated thermal insulation kit for the Dodge Viper. Since the Viper’s debut in 1992, owners have dealt with a multitude of heat problems that are resolved with the new kit.
Alloy Racing Covers design engineers worked closely with Dan Cragin of ‘The Viper Shop’ in Los Angeles, California to develop this kit. Dan is highly regarded in the Viper community and is considered one of the top five Viper technicians in North America. We asked Dan to tell us about some of the concerns voiced by his customers. Following is what he had to say:
‘In my 10 years servicing and racing Dodge Vipers, the most common complaints aired by my customers have been related to heat. Uncomfortable interior temperatures, burnt skin on exhaust panels, discoloration of paint and poor AC performance are just a few. Improved thermal protection from Alloy Racing Cover is the answer to these issues.’
Hence, we developed the ‘Viper Cool kit.’ This is literally the highest quality insulation kit available for any production vehicle. Up until now, heat control of this quality has only been used on professional race vehicles. We know…because for over 30 years Advanced Thermal Products provided products to professional race teams only.
Viper insulation parts can be purchased individually, or as a kit, to meet your particular needs.
